A5 Reverse Camera

Hi All,

I've tried to find the answer to this myself and it does not appear to be here... loads of threads but nothing that I can see that's clear; apologies in advance if I have simply not looked properly.

I have 3G HDD nav, DVD player, front / rear park plus.
So I'd like to install a reverse camera > the question is do I need an interface or as I have the spec above already is there an existing point somewhere that I can plug into already ?

I saw that also and liked to think that as have DVD player that this is connected to the plug on the back of the screen already via a factory installed BOX of tricks or similar; else it's an expensive mod....

Hopefully someone can tell us for sure ?

OEM one would cost nearly 4 times the amount, but it would a be a proper camera and the lines would move with the steering angle. These cheap ones are no where near as good and don't integrate with the factory parking sensors.

I have this option on my RS5, it does not move with the steering, only the graphical line on the screen moves

So If I got an OEM camera, would I also need extra kit to make a connection or do I already have whats needed ?

OEM camera kit should connect to your existing system, you would need the camera, controller and wiring loom.
