A5 190tfsi upgrade to S5 brake kit

A relatively new A5 190tfsi owner here. Got my car in early Feb.

Considering to upgrade my brakes to S5 brakesets with Audi so that my warranty will remain intact. The front brake set is a 6 pot Akebono with 350mm rotor while rear is TRW monoblock with 330mm rotors. Both are priced about the same.

Is it ok to just upgrade the front brake set while keeping the rear stock? Any major impact to brake balance between front and rear?

I would have thought that surely your warranty will not be intact, and neither will your insurance, as you have modified the car from standard...

If the car is leased, on a pcp or hire purchased then more so...

The upgrade is done by the sole distributor/dealer here in my country and as far as I understood from my service advisor, the car sans the brake's warranty will be with Audi while the brakes will be with the dealer. They did the MTM tuning the same way too.
