I have a friend who has an issue with one of his rear windows on his A4 (saloon) only going up half way when pressing the button once, the other 3 windows work fine, except for this one.
- It only goes up half way, it doesn't drop or anything like when the regulator is bad/broken.
- All 4 windows go all the way up when using convenience to close all 4 at once.
- All 4 windows go all the way up when using the keyfob (by pressing and holding the lock button until the windows are closed).
- Have checked to see if anything is blocking the window in the seals, with a thin screw driver wrapped in a cloth, sprayed compressed air in it, etc. but no luck.
I find it strange that it will work when using convenience for all 4 or when using the keyfob, as I assume none of that would work if the regulator was bad or on it's way out.
Any ideas on how to resolve this?
