A4 Cabriolet Armrest

Hi. The clip that secures the lid on my centre armrest has just broken. I've taken the lid off, tried to clue the plastic part but when the spring is located it just breaks again. Spoken to Audi, quoted eighty four pounds for a new lid. Is is possible to take the lid apart and replace the broken clip? Found lids on Ebay but its still exspensive for the sake of the broken plastic clip!

I bought my new lid from Audi, around £45 + Vat.

There is no other way of fixing it without using a something that sticks out.

I know its a lot of money, but its well worth it. Mine was sooo annoying.

I also got quoted £80plus for a new lid. I managed to Araldite my clip and has been operating correctly for a good few months now thankfully, as it was a pain in the A55 rattling about before.

Thanks for the response. I'll have another go at sticking it back together. It's going to anoy me if its not put right.
