Hi I have a 2005 A4 TDI cabriolet. Recently serviced and other works done. Today after a run the emission warning light came on and stays on. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Suggestion; get it scanned by vcds (or another code reader), find out the actual cause. You will at least have an idea of why this is happening.
Clear fault (if it clears) and then see if it comes back. If it does, investigate the code further!

As mentioned above, get a code reader.
£10 on amazon, they're life savers for that sort of stuff

Get the Orange colour code reader on Amazon.

Its £20 odd pound and is amazing.

Literally scanned all my mates cars with it.

If you're new to all of this..basically its a device that will check your car for faults. You can then literally google the fault codes to find out whats the issue.
