I've previously had an S3 and Focus ST and didn't feel the need to lower them. I recently bought a B8 Audi A4 Avant 1.8tfsi. Unfortunately its the none s line version but has got 19" wheels. The arch gap is so bad this thing needs lowering! Due to having never lowered a car before im concerned about comfort so was wondering what you could recommend to lower it without losing too much if any comfort. Will this be a case of just springs or springs and shocks? was looking at the following: https://www.dpmperformance.co.uk/ca...t-saloon-18t-fsi-20t-fsi-20tdi-32fsi-fwd-1107
Morning, Thank you for your post. Firstly how many miles have your current dampers covered? The Bilstein B12 kit is probably one of the best springs and shocks kits on the market so a great option to look at. Damian @ DPM Performance
With that mileage I'd definitely suggest going for a full springs and shocks kit. Damian @ DPM Performance
ok, so you would recommend: BILSTEIN 35MM/30MM B12 PRO LOWERING SPRINGS & SHOCKS SUSPENSION KIT and these wouldn't give up much comfort?
Yes, one of the best if not the best springs and shocks kit on the market. The ride will be firm but very refined so not harsh. Damian @ DPM Performance
