    Hi all,

I’m looking to take my sound to that next level. Got a pioneer pro sub and amp ready to go in and was wondering if it was possible to upgrade the head unit to an aftermarket one in the B8?

Has anyone had any success considering the computer controls within the stock unit.

    Thanks

The alpine is now newer and lot more up to date.
The x702 for Audi is out with Apple car play and android auto.

Sorry to bring up an old thread but I’m
Looking to upgrade and seen these units are they all plug and play ? Any coding required?

Also has this replaced your small square in screen build into the dash ? Looks so much nice and smooth real big flat screen too rather than hiding away

    Hi

S1 has been discontinued due to factory closing down... Fortunately RSNav found a more reliable manufacturer and S2 (running true Android 9.0) is currently entering production phase..

Please check https://rsnav.com/collections/all where the first batch of S2s (running Android 7.1) for more info.

    Hi.

I understand this thread is old and probably been talked to death, but my question is as follows:
    I’m
Looking to buy a 2011 B8 A4. Currently is does not have DAB. Is it possible to install Dab? I’m not into ICE and I’m not interested in a 50” pop up screen, I just want to be able To get get planet rock in my car

    thanks

If your 2011 A4 has Concert etc, ie just a radio+CD player, but without DAB, you can buy a used Concert etc with DAB and swop them over, this will mean that you will need to get Component Protection sorted out at a proper VAG Indie or an Audi main dealer. Also you will need to a DAB aerial amplifier along with a new lead. I did that a couple of years ago myself.
