A4 B8 2014 S-Line rear bumper question

Hello

There appears to be a gap in my rear bumper where I assume a tow bar can be fitted. Should there be some sort of cover over this hole?

As I know a space is cut out in the rear bumper diffuser for the towing hook so no cover. Show us a pic.

Some chassis have incorporated a cutout in valances these days underneath which isn't seen from behind whereas others have caps as the hole was visible from the rear.

Without checking etka I couldn't say 100% but I'm sure it's this.

Yeah that's by design, no cap as it's hidden underneath, ignore it.
