Hey everyone,

Started to notice recently that everytime I turn the engine on (and for the duration of the drive) the Oil Sensor warning comes on.
Anyone any idea what this could be due to and how serious can this be?
I have checked that there is plenty of oil so clearly must be a fault with either the sensor or something bigger than that.
Thanks for any help.

Phil

Faulty sensor, fairly common. You need to drain the oil to replace it.

If you open the bonnet the warning will reset and, if it's like mine, probably do about 200 miles then come on again.

Thanks very much for that mate. Will try opening the bonnet and see if it goes away. Anyways,
Gonna get it sorted out on Monday :)

Would you let me know how much it costs ? really need to get mine done and oil change due soon :)

Absolutely man, that's no problem. I'm gonna get it done on Monday in Dublin, Ireland so the price will be in Euro, but i'm sure it's not gonna be that much different to the one in the UK.
