Hi All, I am new here.
I have a 2003 A4 1.8 T-Sport Cabriolet.

Looking to change the front upper and lower grill from the original ones to the genuine S4 style.
I called Audi who said I needed a chassis number.

Can anyone help me with part codes or how to go about getting them ?

Also looking to change my std 17" 5-spokes to the 19" RS6 Reps. What offset do I need, couldn't seem to find the answer on here.

Cheers
James

i have 18" RS6's and they are ET35, if you fit 18's you should also be able to get away with ET38, but for 19's prob best to go with ET35.

the 17" 5 spokes you have at the moment should be ET42, i had they same ones before getting my 18" RS6's and they went on no probs.

have a look in the group buy section, if you buy from Rochford Tyres and mention this forum you should get a 5% discount and they will also advise on the correct offset to go with as well.

for the front bumper mods check out this new bumper from Hofele, i think it is the muts nuts, and if I had a cabriolet I would whack this on straight away! (click links below)

Hi, i'm new to this site & having just seen this link couldn't believe the link above.

After a bit more research though, isn't that conversion for the B7 (2005) version & not the B6, i also have a 2003 1.8T Quattro Cab & the thought of upgrading the front end really got me excited, please tell me it's suitable?

i was in the same position a month or so ago! there is some cool stuff out there,

as long as your chassis number starts 8H then the Hofele kits will fit, the 2005 B7 version already has the 'BIG' grill and this kit converts the B6 car to a 'BIG' grill so it looks like the B7 version :hubbahubba:

Thanks for the replies guys, i now have it booked in for the front end next Tuesday, can't wait....

member to post pics braddie!

Hi Guys

Had it done & it looks fantastic, i'll try to get some photos tomorrow.

While it was in i had a free 6 hour trial remap done, that's now booked in for next week for the full jobbie, makes the car feel as it should in the 1st place...

Sorry it's been a while, when we got the car back it was pretty dark so couldn't have a real close look at the paint job, when i looked at it in broad daylight there were a few imperfections in the paintwork so it went back for a respray.
Got the car back last night & looked at it today, perfect paint job, whilst there we decided to change from the W12 grill to the V8 grill & tbh it looks much much better than with the W12 grill (just in case anyone else takes the plunge!!).
I'll try & get some pics up tomorrow (weather permitting), whilst it was in i had the full APR remap done, it now goes like ***t off a shovel....love it to bits & well worth the money.
Keep thinking about the next upgrade, either new tips, Sat Nav or leather i think??

A BIG thanks to Dean at Awesome GTI, knows how to keep a customer happy!!!!!

Damn it, i can't work out now how to enlarge my posr??

It looks like the pic is to large to show it, I'm sur tere is a size limit. Try reducing the size of the pic as it seems to be showing a thumbnail at the min

nice, i'm likin that, just need to get some bigger rims on now, 18 or 19 inch rs6s i reckon......suppose the wallet needs to recover a bit first though, mines still recovering from xmas!!!

lookin' really smart though! i wonder how long it would confuse an audi technician for when you take it for a service (if you use a stealership)!!!

Thanks for the replies guys, it actually looks much nicer in the flesh, the fit to the bodywork is totally spot on, prior to ordering it i was worried that there may be bigger gaps or it just wouldn't quite fit but if you didn't know it was an aftermarket bumper, you'd think it was an OEM part fit from new.
Totally agree about the rims, looking at 18" next, fancy the 19's but not at the price of new rubbers for them.

How much for the bumper (and bling bits).

i was looking at that a few months back and didnt want to be the first to do it.

19inch Rs4 reps with crap tyres £695 with great tyres £795.

south west tyres, deal code is Audi sport mcgough

I think in total inc fitting & paint it cost around £1200.00, i could have saved a few quid i suppose by having it painted elsewhere & had a go at fitting myself, but it just didn't seem worth the hassle of saving a few quid....
