had it in a gargae now, still cant find a problem with it even had it wired up..

again its laggin? not picking up as it should.. and over 4k revs it juders it never did before!

first fort was an lose air box part but no joy?!

Hi mate, it went in for a look at what I said was wrong, they checked all the ibises pipes and hoses and couldn’t see a problem, my mrs has just come home and said now it’s rocking/juddering at 80mph? It does seem to be lagging in general.. I hope someone can help as were lost!

To be fair it’s not so much a misfire.... it still picks up speed but it’s a very very notiable juddering / forwards backwards moment on the car.. And not sure if it helps but from gear to it lags to pick up speed sometimes and oh yea all the lagging happens just over 4,000revs every time 80mph 5 gear and 100 mph 6th gear..

Now iv asked 1 person to day who would know they said its the clutch and flywheel adn said summit else.. Said a friend has a similar problem and the clutch or flywheel wear down unevenly and soon it will be gutless? I did not like the sound of that! any1 shed any light?

Hi, as the thread title is "still prob!" I presume this has been going on for a while.. So i'm guessing the coil packs have probably already been checked.. ?

about 8 weeks , some1 did sugest this also , if they needed repacing what sort of cost are they as i was told its a quick job to replace?

Try and get some fault codes - this could be coil pack or crankcase related but hard to tell without the codes

They should have them if they ran a diagnostics - if not they need to plug in their dianostics again and they will have them in seconds

sorted! problem does not show in diagnostic and took 2 a local audi man.. told me has had it with his car before... was soem kind of air flow part.. that aloows X amount of air in at the right time?!

any how £116 hours work with part job done!

oh and remeber on here there was some one who wraped a a4 white looked cool, i said i was doing a cool design on my van well here she is!
