Hi

I'm looking to lower our car and fit front and rear spacers, currently has standard sport suspension and 19" Rotor OEM alloys

Not sure whether coilover is the best way to go? Budget is max of 1k fitted, probably looking for around 40mm drop, with regards to spacers was looking at 25mm rear 15mm front but been advised that may be too much?

Your advice and support pre purchase would be much appreciated.

FYI the car covers circa 5k PA and has covered 15k since new (April 2011)

Thanks
Steve

Morning,

Thanks for your post.

Coilovers are a good option and will allow you to get the exact stance you require. I've put a couple of good mid range kits that are within your budget below -

As for spacers, 25mm rear and 15mm front is fairly wide especially when you're wanting to lower on coilovers as well. Generally the most popular option we do for the A4 B8 is 10mm front and 15mm rear but if you wanted to go a little wider you could go for 12mm/15mm front and 20mm rear. The best thing to do on this may be to fit the coilovers and then work out what space you have to play with.
