a4 2.0t dtm temp gauge

Hi guys just recently my cars temp gauge isn't really showing the car getting up to temperature and it's going up and down abit but more staying around the line in between the bottom and 90 the heaters are getting warm if that helps
Can anybody point me in the right direction thanks

If it comes upto 90 when in traffic but then drops down on the open road could be the thermostat needing changed.

Thermostat as suggested - CTS sensor also known to be problematic.

Cheers guys gunna get it in garage this week mite sound stupid but is it still ok to drive until late then or could I cause engine damage thanks

Cheers mate same I only just bought mine and noticed it this morning just dint want to ruin by still driving till i get it to garage some point this week
