Hi guys,
This is my 1st time posting here.
I have a 2007 b7 2.0 tdi brd 170 which has an intermittent ticking/knocking noise.
It sounds like its coming from the airbox region, (right around the drivers footwell area of the engine bay if that makes sense) and it only happens when under load and accelerating like when joining a motorway. If I take off from a standstill and accelerate hard through the gears it doesn't seem to happen.
Does anyone here have any previous experience with something like this or could point in a direction to investigate further with lockdown here in ireland I have some time to kill.
