Hello,

I've been on the forum now for a couple of years and found some really good advice and used the services of a few recommended on here.

My cars just about to tick over 5 years old and I was trying to decide if I should keep her or look at changing before the expense of the cambelt etc. Having looked about and not really seeing much that didn't involve putting 5k upwards towards to upgrade I've decide to stick with my A3 for a few more years.

As she's gonna be around for a few more years I've decided to spend a few ££££ on it upgrading a few bits and generally give it some TLC.

Heres the care as she stands today........

So the up and coming plans are;

A visit to Hull Audi | Hull Audi Garage where the Cambelt, water pump, air con service and the below little upgrades are gonna be added

The ambient light was bought from a forum member and is almost brand new.

The pedals are brand new and came from Audi A3 S3 RS3 8P NEW pedals original genuine Audi pedals RHD, best price | eBay
The pedals are perfect condition, delivered hassle free and a bargain compared to main dealer prices.

Once all the maintenance is done its then onto https://www.facebook.com/pages/AutoshineSpecialistValetingTony-Spears/133360293395862
Tony here has a vast amount of experience and the cars off in to have all the callipers refurbished, paint correction and a few other little bits of TLC.

i'll give some honest opinions, reviews and add some pics as the work goes on and hope it helps anyone thinking of doing any of the bits.

So now you're keeping it, we gonna do your cruise etc :p

I have a bundle of jobs up north now mate, just have to book them in now tbh, going up the east, across the top & down the west, so its kinda ideal tbh, but that's up to you to decide :)

Update so far..........

Had the car in for a quick warranty job at Audi hull yesterday prior to dropping the it off at Autotechnica.

I've found Hull Audi to be an excellent franchise, very helpful and really friendly. The girls took loads of time to play with my little girl who's off school at the min. She left on first name terms with loads of the staff and was spoilt rotten with hot chocolates, biscuits and sweets.
Audi were able to book the car in at short notice and job sorted to a high standard.

As I was in Hull yesterday I decided to leave the car there and get a hire car for the day, saves me a little back on fourth. So off to enterprise I go.......£20 later I've got this bad boy for the day

Guess that's one bad thing about not going main dealer all the way.

Enterprise was surprisingly good though, easy to use and fairly hassle free...... Even after I found I'd forgot my driving licence.

So on the way home the cars dropped of at Autotechnica and left there for its day of pampering today...... Now just waiting for the call :whistle2:

She's back :racer:

And I must say Autotechnica in Hull are absolutely amazing.

The car took a little longer than expected as I put another job on them at short notice and also asked them to investigate a little niggle I've been having with the drivers door.

Due to the level of work by these guys I'm gonna do a full write up in a separate thread but if your local ish to Hull then I'd use these guys without a doubt, They can fit, repair, retro fit, supply and code just about anything to anything.

Anyone who knows me will know I've got serious car OCD and these guys have surpassed my expectation.

Onto autoshine tomorrow now for the detail and callipers painted (and all by a fellow Sportback owner.....bonus)

Cars now getting some TLC by autoshine.......

As promised I did a full review for Autotechnica which is at http://www.audi-sport.net/vb/a3-s3-sportback-8p-chassis/210901-autotechnica-hull-review.html

Really do think the guys deserve it, also the a quick review for for the pedals that I bought off eBay.
These are amazing, they lift the cars interior more than I could of imagined. It's something little and the £60 for these from this seller is an absolute bargain.
If your thinking of doing the S3 pedals use the seller listed earlier, you'll not regret it.

To add to the finished look I just got these for when it's had its detail......
