Hello I'm considering buying my dads 2006 A3 special edition 2.0t it has 150k miles but running strong, it has full leather ans sat nav was wondering how long the 2.0t is good for and if it's worth a buy, it's a 3 door in red needs a bit love but it's a gorgeous car and hate to see it scrapped or go to the wrong home

It's exactly the same and has no damage to the interior no rips or marks just hasn't been looked after by the previous owner

Depends on the price dad is selling it for, hopefully cheap cheap as it’s your dad. If it has been mechanically neglected I reckon you could easily spend £1k bringing it up to standard. A major service including the chain, cam belt, all the fluids and brakes would need doing.
Between you, you should have a good idea on the cars weaknesses and what needs doing.
