A3 scuttle panel difference

I've cracked my scuttle panel on my 2004 a3 3door, looking around for a replacement I've noticed the part numbers can end in A-E, anybody got an idea what the difference is, I've heard the later model ones have a smaller hole for the washer jets, I've got Passat fan type washers so if that's true that'd be ideal.

The spacers can be bought to take up the gap, if they are even the same size.

I've already got the spacers but they're not ideal, don't really hold the washer at the right angle

There is a little torx hole that you adjust the spray with

Yeah, it's at its limit and firing over the screen
