All brand new to me and I am on a very big learning curve. After much messing around with vcds cables from around the world, I decided to buy the original, believe me it's the best way to go.
Now back to my problem, front puddle lights and emergency lights all up and running. But for the rear, I have followed the following with no luck.
16 pin plug used brown wire as earth which i believe is pin 13 then next to it pin 12 as live.
used VCDS software version 18.9.1 using an HEX V2 FULLY REGISTERED TO ME.
my front doors just went into VCDS selected control module drivers door ticked the boxes for puddle and emergency light and all was good. But when i do this for the rear doors nothing happens.
I have changed on rear door coding the 4th number to a 5 but still nothing. Anybody got any ideas?
