A3/S3 wingmirrors.. Calling retrofitters

Does anyone know if the 2012 a3/s3 wingmirrors are a straight bolt on to replace the 2009 Dumbos?

Can the same module be used for indicators if the auto folding is not required!? Can auto folding mirrors still be manually folded

Full mirrors to the A pillars, not caps.... I wana double check

Folding mirrors still fold manually like non folding ones.

yes you can swap the dumbos to the newer fold up style my11 mirror bases.
the door module will work just the same, no difference in the mirrors apart from the aesthetics
If you buy electric folding mirrors i wouldn't recommend manually folding them as the are attached to motors and they don't like to be folded in manually. Its actually much harder to manually fold in the mirrors that have the electric motors in them as there is more resistance, also you may damage the motors by manually folding them.
