There's something I can't change on this car: an engine and transmission. For more than 2.5 years of ownership I didn't fell in love with the diesel and I always disliked manual transmission (though I never had an automatic one.) I want a petrol engine with the s-tronic.

Petrol and DSG for me any day. Having said that our 2.0T sounds just like a diesel

Yes, staying with Audi. I want a FL 8V 1.4/1.5 TFSI S-Tronic Saloon, preferably S-line. It's almost impossible to get a pre-owned S-line in Denmark, so I can end up with converting a sport edition into it. There's not many offers with a decent extra option package either. I was just too late for one last week But first I need to sell my beautiful 8P.

Have been thinking the same but our A3 is going solid so far and we probably won’t switch soon. And if we do probably the new Q5 that’s just come out should be affordable in a few years time as our toddler is growing up fast!

BTW, during two weeks of trying to sell it, I received 0 (zero) calls other than a text from a middleman and an offer from a car dealer from who I considered to buy a pre-owned 8V Saloon. Other than that - silence. I priced it according to specs (though there isn't a single 8P S line for sale in the country anyway), than lowered price dramatically to the level of an average spec A3. Still silence. I bet locals are scared buying modded cars as well as cars sold by privat sellers, as the privat sellers can't guarantee any after-sale support. That sucks especially now, because all the Audi dealers across the country seem to clean up their stock and I see price reduction by 7-11 pct. on Audi Approved cars during last three days.

The RS3-look diffuser was fitted today with a tailpipe modification from a single to a dual one. It was painted in gloss black with Audi's matte silver aluminium edge (color code LAP6).

It was a replacement for the SE diffuser, but you can also say that it was a replacement for the S-line diffuser because both SE and S-line 8P Sportbacks have the same rear bumper.

The sline diffuser looks a lot better than the SE one anyway. I know two more A3 owners with this diffuser, one of them is a member of this forum, @Dikonou. He painted it black.

Edit: I just saw a red A3 hatch with this diffuser right up this page, post #5306.

I just spent the past couple of nights looking through this entire thread trying to get some inspiration for my silver S line, it seems that silver isn't one of the more popular colours? And it also seems that Bentley rims aren't in vogue as much as they were ?? Rotors are still popular, but the splitties and speedline's look great.

BTW - some of the modded/custom silver A3's looked absolutely trick

I noticed that to, I'm also driving A3 silver, standart, couple weeks ago fitted h&r 35mm springs, in april i'll put my new silver 18'' rotors, will post some photos after that
