I sold my order about 7 weeks ago as I was sick of waiting, and bought the Ibis one instead. All in all I've saved and made money, but there's no getting away from it that's thus is one great looking car

I really hope not, I expect it to look wrong atm anyway to hide the final design, but mirrors look like they're of an Exeo or a TT to an extent & unless I'm wrong, body looks awfully close to an 8P dont you think.

The side view looks like the older a3's i think the 8L's and a mix between that and a stretched out A1. Looks disappointing

I'm still over the colour .......I'm tempted to just buy a side wing with the colour.....lol...

That RS3 looks fantastic, the chrome pack contrasts really well with that colour. Sepang blue must be one of the easiest colours for the salesmen to punt in a showroom when it's all glossy. The only trouble is that it's not great in dull British day light or even when just a tiny bit dirty.

As long as there is an 11mm border it is legal, been running mine 2 years plus. Never had any problems from the police.

New a3 Interior - So Boring

the A1 and the new Q3 have the same interior... very boring and very BMW.
I was told by a sales person in Docklands Audi yesterday that the new A3 isnt that much different on the outside from the current 8P. just sharper lines and better LEDs. will see soon i guess... he said it should release December this year?

also saw this at Docklands and i thought it represents our site very nicely

Finished my A3 Sportback project , now I'm having other one in mind with the A5 sportback s-line 3.0 tdi
A3 specs & mods so far : full s3 exterior , custom S3 interior - navi rnse with reverse camera tv & dvd , full interior lightning package , bbs oem pescaras , 30 mm wheels spacers on rear , s3 braking system with ate ceramic goodridge brake lines and TyrolSport brake Caliper stiffening kit , facelift rear tails, custom exhaust system with dpf off & turbo upgrade , caractere hood spoiler , 3M paint protection wrapping and more.
I'm very satisfied with my result and i want to say thank you to all of you that helped me with the mods and to audi-sport forum for being the no 1 audi forum.
Some pics with the mods .
my project started with this
stock a3 sport back s-line ( pic in heavy winter )

and then the timeline:
new facelift with new wheels ( didn't liked them so much )

custom exhaust job with dpf off and s3 rear with tails

new oem bbs with s3 skirts, needed some dropdown asap

big brake upgrade

full detailing

fresh & tidy in the garage

custom interior

the drop down with h & r rear spacers ( also applied my auto service stickers)

real drop down

The A3 will be soon in my wife or brother possession don't know for now happy with the A5

3g navi plus , with bang & olufsen and s-tronic for a win
