Hi all ordered A3 Sportback, edition 1, 40 Tfsi, c/s, quattro, nav blue, spare wheel on 26/04/21 had a Email from dealership today car is in Uk port waiting for transport to dealer,

I did wonder. Audi having your car ready before you placed the order haha. That would be something.
Good news however also frustrating knowing I’ve got nearly the exact same order one month before and it’s still not started production
Picked up my 40 TFSI e this morning. Ordered 5 months ago so seems I got lucky, perhaps they are prioritizing hybrids ( make more profit on them/green credentials?). Wireless phone charging was fitted as ordered. Android Auto is now wireless. Also dealer mentioned that MMI had now been fixed to stop SOS message. Wait and see on that one!

How are some dealerships providing updates but Audi UK are unable to. Where are the dealerships getting the info from
I know it’s ridiculous. My leasing company is useless with updates too. Not heard off them in over a month. I even asked if I could place an order on 2 new cars for my business which they didn’t get back to me either so placed the order elsewhere. My leasing company has been the same. I’ve had to phone them to get updates because they never replied to my emails. It’s due at the dealership on Monday. Hopefully they’ll get in touch to arrange delivery for next week
It’s so frustrating. Glad your getting yours soon. At least they are actually producing some. Enjoy and get some pictures when it arrives.

That’s ridiculous 3 months if that yet some of us have been waiting months and months and still no build date. Audi is backwards

Normal practice when dealing with a scarce resource....you proitise the product that gives the most profit contribution (not good for us)

Not long in comparison to a lot of others but feels like forever! Ordered 24th May and vehicle has been in production since w/c 5th July

Update from dealer today - car available on Thursday to collect ….. doesn’t suit as working so collecting on Friday morning

Well the miracle finally happened and my car was delivered today. Looks lovely and everything is as it should be.
Setting up the mmi is a pain though, I cannot set user for some reason and keep getting ‘notes’ popping up informing me about different things. I cannot see how to turn them off.
Only driven about a mile to the beach and back so far but it feels great to drive.

Congrats . Have the Transport blocks been taken out the suspension look high from the pictures ?

Guess what… my car that was due yesterday. Isn’t even built. Fuming is not the word
That is a P take. How on earth can they tell you it’s on its way, it’s here then it will be ready to collect soon when it’s not even built. It’s disgusting.
