A3 Map Update

Hello Guys,

Hope someone can help me and yes I have had a look through the search function.

I have a 2016 A3 Saloon 150 NAV. The maps are built in and not on a sdcard. I have the tech pack and have 2 sd card slots on my MMI.

I have created an account with Audi and gone on https://my.audi.com/ and got my car up and all my details but there is no mention of maps. I have checked and checked.

What Im I doing wrong?

This might sound weird but I was getting a message about “no map updates available but we’re trying to get this to you as soon as we can”. That was me using several browsers on a PC. Using my iPhone for some weird reason showed me the updates I was entitled to and in the end I downloaded using safari on an iPhone. Then using iTunes I transferred the 14Gb file to my PC and loaded onto a blank SD card. Hope this helps?

Also, check out this thread. It mentions something similar but the fix is to select your country location before logging in.

When I log on any device, there is no mention of maps at all, even if it said no maps updates I would be happy with that but theres nothing.
