I have an Audi a3 sportbacks-line which is a lease car and going back next month. After 11 years of never curbing a wheel I have somehow managed to do 3/4 on this car!!
I am wondering if it's worth repairing these before handing it back. Not sure whether the lease company will invoice me for repairing these or not. I have had quotes of 100+vat per wheel to repair them. Apparently being diamond cut it takes longer and costs more.
My other option would be just to patch them up to look ok but been told trying to match paint for a silver alloy wheel is near impossible.
Has anyone any experience of passing back a lease car with curbed wheels? what the price was if they invoiced you for repairs.
Or has anyone successfully managed to re paint over a curb mark? is there a way of finding the exact colour used?
