A3 holds its value better than any other car in UK

mine doesn't, lost me near 4 grand over 2 years

Point proven then.

You want to see how much a flipping Renault Megane looses over 4 years - not that I am seeling one to fund my A3, no, no.

I reckon mine has lost a grand maximum in 2 years!

I'm really surprised the Mini isn't at the top of that list. They don't seem to lose much money at all!

I reckon I've lost that in 6 months lol!

Suprised the mini isnt in the top 10 though, or any BMW. Maybe BMW refused to take part!

It says they only looked at the top 10 selling cars of 2009 - surprised the A3 made it on to that list although seeing more and more of them about now.

my 07 caliber was 6 weeks old its 15k new i paid 12.6k 20k( miles later and three years part exed for my a3 got 7.2k) thats dirty

a3's are very popular cars at the mo i see at least 5 a day sometimes more people are realising they are quality cars if i was selling or part exing my car it would be for another a3 for sure

my next one will be sport back 170 quattro hmmm sline in white

I don't think they based it on used cars guys....which when you think about it, a 3 year old A3 does actually hold its value pretty well..providing you don't buy something like a 3.2 but a 2.0tdi or a s3 even.

My 2.0TDI has cost me 5k in 2.5 years of ownership, assuming I trade it in.
