A3 facelift (2006 halogen light to 2010 halogen) side light parking/light error

I'm under going a face lift using stranded halogen lights from the 2010

My problem is i have no side lights working on the new lights and i have bulb error light on my dash (left and right parking light)

Has anyone come across this (is there a wiring difference as everything else works perfect

Forgot to update

I just moved one pin in the plug to another location pritty easy to work out which
