A3 bad oil leak please help

I knew I had a small oil leak but after looking today it might be worse than I thought. It’s located at the back of the engine up past 2 coolant pipes and higher than anything near the sump or sump gasket. It looks like a round container or something that might also be water fed. It’s on my 2010 A3 2.0tdi

Can any one advice what it might be coming from.
