A3 8V Tilting passenger mirror when in reverse

Ive enabled this via Carista and have the switch facing passenger side. and it doesn't work. Done the same in my wifes A1 and it works. Anyone any ideas?>

Try putting in reverse and then manually moving mirror down. Then take out of reverse.
I have seen this mentioned as a solution when the functionality seems to lose its way.

As Richard has said, you need to set where you want it to dip to. So put it in reverse, select passenger mirror and move it to where you want. Drive off and then try again
