A3 8v Steering Wheel Onto Pre Facelift 8p

Hello,

As per title really, has anybody on here swapped to the 8V steering wheel?

I've got a pre facelift 8P so I'll have single stage airbag, where as the facelift 8P has a two stage airbag.

From what I've read, the 8V also has a single stage airbag so has anybody gone to an 8V MFSW and airbag?

I'd pm Nigel (NHN) but I cant for some reason (maybe my post count)

Yes it will fit and airbag will be fine as you states as it's single stage, you won't be able to get the Multi-function working as it's a different set up to the 8P system.

Thats a bit gash! can it not just be re-pinned onto a matching connector? or is there another steering wheel with multi-function which I have overlooked?
