A3 8v fog light grill issue

So iv just noticed one of my fog light grills is not properly in place. Iv tried pushing it back in as i can see a clip when i look closely but i dont want to damage anything pushing too hard. Iv attached a photo which shows where its loose. Any info in regards to how it connects would be great.

Just give it a sharp bang with your hand it will go back into postion without a problem. I have had both grills out a couple of times for bulb change and they simply bang back in with your hand no problem.
