A3 8V Air vents retrofit

takes some time Yes! you have 2 options, cut the major part of the dashboard or trim down the 8V air vents, if you want the air to flow correct you need to cut the 8P vents and cut off the back part of them, i can see if i have some pictures of the procedure :)

This was my solution, pay attention at the small edges i left over and also the "point track" (or what you say in English), from the 8P vents.
At the top of the 8V vents, the "protection" plastic is removed from the "rotation axle" and then everything else is cut off.. Nothing is removed from the bottom of the 8V vents!

The only thing remaining is to remove a small amount of dashboard, i take a picture in my car tomorrow! you need to go down 2-3 mm all around and 10mm deep into the hole to make it possible to turn the airflow on and off. I can put 8P vents back without any missfitting or visual marks. In the bottom of the hole you need to clear the way for the vent gears in the bottom, cut off the edge.
