Ok - I have a 2006 A3 8P sportback which I'm currently breaking as the engine is dead, this has been replaced by an A3 8P 2008 S Line TDI, but the new car has lots of features missing that the old car has, such as:
Bose sounds system
Auto lights and Wipers + dimming rear view mirror - have the windscreen also
Folding mirrors (and dimming) - seems easy enough swapping door modules, mirrors and switch
Heated and power seats (front) - donor car has single din radio and new car has double DIN, is the heater control unit a different size (due to position in center console)
Bluetooth Handsfree
Footwell lighting
My question relates to how easy it would be to removed the required wiring and associated parts from the scrap car and retro fit to the new one, I'm currently unpicking the looms at present but wondering if this is in the "too much work" category and I should use Kufatec looms to do this?
