A3 8P 3.2 LED replacement warning

First post here but just a quick warning to all about some LEDs I picked up off Ebay. These were guaranteed not cause CANBUS errors but created an absolute disaster. When I plugged in the new LED into the fronr park lamp socket, it upset the onboard CPU to the point where it wouldn't communicate with the transmission control module, leaving the DSG locked in P. My garage is an Audi specialist so they managed to reflash everything and get it going again. PM me if you're intending to buy some of these and I'll be happy to share the details of the vendor. Has anyone successfully installed LEDs? Who are the best vendors?

I've got some non can bus error free number plate leds to fit. Will they be ok?

Thanks but I think the parking bulbs are 501 type not the same.

I got 501 error free ones off eBay fir my sidelights work fine the seller was Argo city ...

Cheers. Did a search for them but no result. After that fiasco think I will stick with ugly std bulbs.

I had ebay led 501 canbus in my a3 last two years no probs just changed to a set from user t8ups and no probs with them either mate
