A3 8p 2.0tdi quattro Fuel Filter!?

Hi guys, first post as I'm struggling a bit wi finding the correct fuel filter to service my car. I've worked out that the chassis number is the deciding factor, but my chassis number doesn't seem to exist!? It seems that it should be 8p-6-176000 or 8p-6-176001 but mine is 8p-8-103270. HELP!

Hope I'm not being naive here, or just an idiot.

Unfortunately there are 2 types subject to engine code, type etc, even etka using vin doesn't usually denote which version to use, 1 is shorter & flat ends iirc, other is long & has a hole through the middle to push into the housing.

Ideally remove the lid & check the part number, 5-10 minute job.

I know it's a pain but I just ordered both and returned the wrong one. Mine was the larger one of the two.
