Hello everybody,

I own Audi A3 (8L) year 2002. Recently I was installing Alpine ute-200bt aftermarket radio to my car and the radio doesn't turn on. I have used CT20AU09V2 adapter harness. I've installed the red wire in the fuse box. I've pluged into fuse socket 31 (which is for fuse for automatic transmition (which I don't have)) using pigtail connector and I my radio doesn't turn on. What is the problem? Does anybody know? I really want to get as soon as possible. I'll atach some pictures to see what I've done.

Cheers.

Sounds like you've not wired in the perm & ignition wires together which is usually why this happens.

The other issue is when it requires the bus signal from the car to turn on if the powers wired correctly, so you'd need to 1st check your power wiring then if ok check your requirement of the bus wiring usually 2 orange wires, being an 8L it's got Kline, so you'd need to check what the alpine & adapter need to turn on.

I connected the yellow radio cable with red wire that I routed to the fuse box and red with yellow on radio using the adapter I've previously mentioned.

I've also connected the blue-white wire from the red socket to the radio.
