a3 8l 1.8 rear abs

hi all
finally getting round to repalcing my sensor

so.....
caliper and disc removed

sensor disconnected and torx bolt removed

and it stuck in there well and good

any tips for removing ?

is it held in with anything else ?

Not held in by anything other than rust... I had to smack mine out from the disc side... destroys it but as you are replacing its not really an issue

Clean up the hole after to ensure easier fitting of the new one

used a hole punch and as you say makes a bit of a mess but 10 mins with a punch and a cold chisel - just being carefull with the reluctor rings as well
popped out and flew across the floor never to be seen again!

just needed a bit of confidence to hit it

Delphi are generally deemed a decent brand and have had no issues 6 years on...
