Hi, had my a3 for about six months now, so thought I would show what I'm up to.

It's a slow going project, so don't expect major changes.
when time and money allows I'll do more.

Here's a few pics when I first got it and gave it a clean

At the same time I fitted some wind deflectors, number plate surrounds and a aux lead.

Some 19" bbs ck's which I had powder coated

While I was cleaning it I found some rust bubbling at the bottom of both doors where the
Door blades fit so a trip to Audi and they are repairing it all under warranty which is a result
Booked in for the start of Jan. Going to get the bonnet and front bumper redone at the same time.
And get my Votex sideskirts fitted as well

Can't wait to get it all fitted in the new year. Just need to sort tyres out.
do I go 235 or 225 wide your opinions welcome

Cheers trev

If the bbs ck are et44 I would run 225-35-19 as 235 will rub a lot

Nice start mate the cupra r splitter does that need any adjustments to fit in the bumper or does it for straight on?

Cheers for the comments guys, the wheels are 8j by 19 et44
So 225 would be the tyre to go for?

The cupra r splitter, you have to trim the edges of I believe will know more when fitted.

your car looks nice !!!
can you please tell me more about air induction kit !
is there any negative impact on the engine ? what changes you noticed ? for how long you had it for ? power improvement and what about fuel ?

Well got a few things done on the car gave her a full service and prepped for the mot. Both rear springs were broken so put the Eibachs on and replaced a inner cv gaiter on the front.

Replaced the b pillar trims as old ones were peeling.

It'll be nice to see the skirts and bumper fitted, I need to get the lacquer done on both bumpers and I'm thinking about changing the rear for an S3 item, along with skirts.
New parts are expensive though and not exactly common second hand.

Small update fitted my s3 rear skirt tonight. Need to find time to get the s-line sideskirts on.

Just need to clean it now

Nice progress. Once I put the S3 bumper on mine I spotted that the tailpipes were out of line with the cutout in the bumper (as yours is) so I had my workshop guys cut off the old ones and add some new super shiney ones in the correct position - simple job that really makes it look spot on :)

Looking forward to seeing the skirts on, wondering what to get myself, so could well be inspiration :innocent:

Where did you get the skirt from mate, I'm after one for my 3.2? Looks good

Mines going in for a full stainless including sports cats on Tuesday, can't wait.

Got it from audi mate part no 8p3807434g1rr.

Post video of exhaust when fitted bud, need to get mine sorted

Did you have any issues getting the paint sorted on warranty? Mines an 06 and the bottom of the front wings has started to rust.

Keep in mind that when you fit the new 'zorst, it will have been designed around the original bumper so will likely still have the tailpipes off centre in the S3 rear valance. I kept the original backbox but just had the tips replaced so that they're a) nice and shiny, and b) in the right place for the S3 valance. You may need to get the pipes adjusted for that.

Pipes 1 Pipes 2

Ha, saying that, the second pic would appear to show they're still slightly off *lol*

How much mate, and does it need painting?

Cost me £110 bud but I know someone at tps so mite be a bit more.

Yeah needs painting as well, only small so won't be much I had my skirts
painted at same time costing about £150 for the lot

Ah nice one. I won't manage to get it done before the exhaust goes on but hopefully I can have the tailpipe altered afterwards to fit the gap properly.

I will be monitoring this thread for more ideas :)

I might be keen on that, depending on where you are located.... I've sent you a PM

Finally got round to getting the side skirts fitted. I think they look awesome if I do say so myself.

I'll let the pictures do the talking

Looks really well mate. Where did you get the tail lights from, are they LED?

Cheers mate, I brought the lights second hand they look like magneti merreli ones from euro car parts unfortunately there not led ones

It's looking really nice.
Can I ask what colour that is you had the wheels done in...? I'm liking the metal flake look.

Been a whille since ive updated with the cars process,

i was told on the mot that the front flexi was blowing, so thought i would
upgrade to a stainless manifold, downpipes and sports cats.

These took me a good 8 hours to fit, as you have to remove the front bumper and move the front panel forward to get to the inlet manifold and remove. once you have done this you can remove the exhaust. IT sounds so much better than before.
Just need to get a cat back now as still using the original.

Ive also had the wheels redone due to kerb marks!!:censored:
had to dive round like this

Decided to paint the front grill and badges black i think it loos so much better

cheers for looking :thumb:
