A3 2.0 tdi 170 cr engine code P0544

hi I wondered if anyone could point me in the right direction what sensor needs changing in my car.. I scanned it with dash conmannd on my iPhone and it came up with code P0544 - EGT sensor circuit 1 bank 1..

I haven't had it scanned properly by VCDS. But not sure if anybody has had this problem themselves and could point me in the right direction?

Common problem on these.. Its the First Exhaust gas temp sensor on the DPF housing. Orange plug i believe..

Hi nvm,

I've read on another forum that it's the black connector.. Pure ball ache to change! Also needs doing asap as it can damage he DPF..
