hi all
Need some major help!
After I got my car mapped everything was working fine until I started driving home and had no boost and started hesitating so I drove it back to have it checked and came back with code p0238. Got a new sensor put in today and plugged it to vagcom to clear the code and code still came back.
I'm getting the following codes:
P0238 - Manifold pressure/boost sensor (g31) signal too high
P0300 - random multiple cylinder misfire detected
P0303 - misfire detected
P0343 - camshaft position sensor (g40) signal too high - intermittent

I've checked the wires going to map sensor and seem fine. Anything else I need to check?
Thanks

Also like to add that it's reading 1.4bar at the map sensor on idle

MAP sensor sounds goosed... although its odd that it happens after a remap...

Thing is I've bought and fitted a new sensor from gsf?

would trust a sensor from GSF unless its a bosch one...

There are two options here... either the sensor is faulty as it should be reading around 990mbar on idle or the map is somehow 'wrong'... have seen maps that are hacked to fudge MAP sensor values so it reads differently but tbh I would expect it to be lower so 1.5bar actual is seen as something lower by the ECU

My money is on the sensor

Cool thanks. I'll speak to gsf tomorrow. This is going to be fun trying to get another sensor from them

show them the logs... can't deny it then...

should be showing atmospheric pressure which is around a bar less a bit of vacuum
