A3 1.4 TFSI Test Drive Equivalents?

I want to test drive an Audi A3 3 Door 1.4 TFSI, but there are none local so I am wondering what the nearest equivalents are?

I can try a 1.4 TSI Golf SE, or a 1.4 TFSI A3 Sportback (5 Door). Which would be the best in terms of the drive and engine performance?

Having an A3 already I am more than happy with the trim levels etc.

OK so the A3 Sportback 5 Door you mean?

The Sportback will be nigh on identical to drive. The only difference is the front doors are smaller to allow for the rear doors and the boot is a slightly different shape but little if any bigger!
