I eventually got round to fitting my new rear discs and pads “brembo “ I’ve been waiting for my 14 mm spline socket coming , the first carrier bolt I tried was solid so I just removed the t 30 screw that holds the disc in position gave it a belt wi a hammer and the disc slid out at an angle :icon thumright: happy days no need to remove carriers new disc slid in no probs ps I used an ancell vd500 for releasing my electric park brake worked a treat

Very useful info.

I don’t know if there is any difference between models, but which one do you have? PFL/FL, A3/S3?

Nice to know, wish you'd posted last week as just had the same issue, my socket was too long and my wrench wouldn't fit the top bolt of the carrier so had to leave discs and just change the pads as they were really really low.
