98 Instrument Cluster Removal - Screws Seized/Rounded

Hey guys, just a quickie as per title really. I've tried to remove my cluster but the initial screws on either side that are usually hidden seem to be seized and or rounded. I've tried multiple bits and screwdrivers but can't get any purchase and it just slips.

What should be my next method? I've googled and come across screw extractor kits but these seem to require drilling into the screw a little first, I doubt theres enough space for a drill in the first place though.

Any tips and suggstions welcome, thanks.

They are torx bits if that helps. You may not be getting a purchase on them if using wrong driver.
