96 1.8t Sport Specs???

is any one here REALLY knowledgeable on the a4 1.8t sport (not quattro) - or know where I can find:
the cars weight (standard will do)
and the Drivetrain loss %

I have got a app for my iphone I want to try out, it is supposed to work out the bhp, and 0-60mp 1/4 mile etc

Car's weight will be in the manual, not sure on drivetrain loss though.

fwd I would guess 25-30%

25% seems quite high, my t5 was 318 bhp and lost about 15% but thats a different make completely i guess around 15% fwd and 25% 4wd

i would suspect the usual drivetrain losses would be around 20-35% depending on a whole range of factors, ie tyre type and pressure, how worn the gearbox is, gearbox oil temperature, road surface, condition of the braking system etc etc etc

15% sounds quite low imo

weight is somewhere around 1300kgs, dont know exactly but istr the 1.8tqs being 1380kgs so 80kgs off for the quattro system sounds fair

weight is about 3600 lbs with driver & fuel
drivetrain loss seems to be around 13%
