its hardly a powerhouse. id go without the extra expense, extra mechanical drag and potential gremins. plenty of cars have more than 150bhp and people survive just fine
quattro would be a waste of time imo
as for lighting up tyres... theyre pedals, not on off switches. i cant see any point having quattro on a 1.8t
no. 4wd is crap, unless you have hundreds of bhp
im over 300bhp and it makes my s4 dull as ditch water to drive. i can totally trust that car to my 23 year old girl friend and she drives it will all sorts of odd shoes on.
4wd is for gays unless you have huge bhp, and 180 really does not warrent 4wd.
you MIGHT, (big might) manage wheel spin in second in the wet leaving a tight corner, but itll spin for a moment and thats in
in the dry it wont spin in 2nd
if the wheel spin in 1st is enough to alarm you then you should be thinking twice about driving fast if thats off putting enough for you
180bhp+4wd = total waste of time
650bhp. thats when youd want quattro
thats a good read
I was going to stay out if this because I couldn't be *****.......BUT........and I quote "4wd is for gays unless you have huge bhp, and 180 really does not warrent 4wd"......Mate, hazard a guess your the same age as your girlfriend. I am confident in saying that because of the hilarity of what you have gone and written. The front wheels of a FWD car have to 1. PROVIDE THE POWER/PULL. 2. STEER. 3. BRAKE
nothing wrong with a boyfriend
back to the subject. back in the day i must have had at least three (that i can remember) B5s with diesel lumps, non quattro. there was nothing wrong with how those rode etc and like has been said, its not the pinacle or sporty so i dont think 2wd would be a big loss (i can understand the benefits independant suspension) but at the cost of having quttro? id have 2wd personally
for clarity, FWD is also known as "wrong wheel drive". 4WD is "gay wheel drive". RWD is just RWDAs for the "gay" Quattro comment, i could see the point if you were comparing a RWD to 4WD, but wouldnt consider a FWD car to be more "manly" to drive than 4WD, i'd say the FWD would be more boring. Cant accelerate into corners, out of corners etc, and i mean on a track, not down to Maccie D's on a "Appenin nite wiv the ladz!"
