Ok so i've got the chance to have either a Q7 or a range rover for a few days but cant choose between the two! Some help?

Q7 for me - Though i do like "Real" Range Rovers - Not the Sport - My mate had one whilst his Lexus 4x4 was in for work - Nasty and cheap inside - Like a £50k Ford!
 
Q7 obviously, but how comes????

Oh actually I have just thought, if there are 2 and you have a choice, whichever you dont have, I will gladly use for a few days :)
 
I only like the Q7 in S-Line trim if I'm being honest, a standard one looks like a whale, it need the 20"(or are they bigger?) rims and a few spoilers to help it's looks. Rangey looks hard out the box, especially in Black and pimped up tinted windows.
 
Ooo sounds like the q7 so far! I'm getting my car's front end resprayed and need something to get around, so my cousin offered me either cars for a very good price! Me thinks it is the rangey sport and I agree above, I prefer the bigger version! From what I've been told, the q7 is a much better car However others say the same with the range rover! Confused.com :(

Mate, I am normally the biggest voice in my circles to champion the Audi, per-se, but where the Q7 is concerned I hate them. Their too big and drive like robots with practically no feed-bacl from the road. That's my opinion and quite a few people agree - including a few Audi salesmen. Don't get me wrong, I've had 6 Audi's, currently got two, and no guessing what my next car will be. But when it comes to 4x4's, unless cost is a problem then RRs are the best and do exactly what their supposed to. Anything else is just a poor man's Range Rover - even the Sport.

Let us know which way you go - loyal to the badge or loyal to common sense lol.

Range Rovers aren't noted for their handerling either mate - And they lose more money than a Rover.... literally... But i still love them - Even though lots of chavs drive them. Which, is why i'd have a Q7 with the 22" S-Line wheels on.

Hey maestro! Thanks for the heads up mate! I was thinking about the range rover first been in a few and they are sexy but some people said the q7 have better road handling. Over all im not gonna have the car for too long so whichever looks the best and has the shinyest rims :) Are the range rovers faster?

The Sport is faster. Yes, the Q7s handling is 'better' but honestly, Audi's drive-characteristics went out the window when they built the Q7 and if anyone says different then they must have 6" foam pads between the souls of their feet and the pedals - coz that's what it feels like driving one. Now, don't get me wrong, in a parallel universe somewhere I'm driving one (parked next to my Bugatti Veyron) coz they look so ****** mean and have that Bentley "get out of my f***ing way" look about them. Good gadgets, lovely engine, but it won't do what a Range Rover does, not even in January's snow (as I witnessed round our way earlier this year). How-Ev-Er ... ... ... for a temporary 4x4, not brand new money, and not my only car, I might have one. At the end of the day what are we talking about; the only car you'll have for the rest of your life; or just a moment in time. Follow your heart and hope it doesn't prove an expensive error. I'd reckon you could live with either of their niggles. They both look awesome, probably one of the closest runners to the REAL Range Rover. Anyway, let us know which direction you take - some of us might laugh lol :)

Not for handling, that's for sure! We buy them to: carry s**t and people; chug around bigger than anyone else; show off our parking skills; have plenty of boot-space when we go down lovers lane; and stick to the road, wet, muddy or dry like s**t to a blanket (so to speak).

I'd love a Disco 3/4 i love the fact you can drive up the side of a mountain if you wish... with 7 people in it and still look cool :cool: Though my Wife thinks they're to square!

weird one, i think the Q7 looks like a shiny ****, but the Q5 is on my top list, yet they are oh so similar...

I would have the range any day of the week...and i agree the discovery is a beast, would love one in black with big *** set of rims
 
Oh, but THIS ... IS ... a Range Rover. "Revere". Overfinch can go to hell since these guys came along.

My Wife’s mate has just bought a Q5 - They're nice at the front but a bit small and pointless at the back! And they're ridiculous money for an A4 on stilts...

Audi Q7. Range Rovers look amasing and have huge road presence but everybody I know that has or has had one has been on teh receiving end of some bills that frankly scare the crap out of me
 
Well guys, i was meant to have the Q7 but that was involved in an accident. The next day i was offered the range rover but then again more problems, the customer who had the car before me did not return it on wednesday. I asked for another one but the guy said the others were booked out for today. Then he said he should have them for today and still.. no range rover :( I have to say i was dissapointed and i was working myself up for this but its just a shame.. However i now have a shiney car since my car was put in for front end respray :D Should get that tomorrow! :D
 
A bugatti fiesta :) hehe. Looking to sell it soon though.
 
Lol sorry but it amuses me greatly that after a 28 post thread debating the merits of both you ended up with neither ...... ;)
 
your telling me!! Still, i was thinking of trying to get one for a few days whilst me and the mrs go on a weekend trip.. Thats if this time i actually end up with one!

Rangie man, unless you get your Q7 ABT up. The proble with Q7s is that now spoty looking sport package and not enough performance and engine choice.
