I've done a ****** load of searching but can't find any pics, are there any floating around of an S3/A3 with 18" CHR or CH Black with the chrome lip?

I want 19's but I'm not in a position at the moment to be buying new tyres and wheels and I can sell my OEM 18" S3's and use the hardly worn Conti SC3's, hence i'm considering the CHR or Ch Black Edition in 18".

I really want new wheels so thinking that some 18" CHR/BE might cure my desires for a year or so until I can afford the 19's.
i don't like the look of the silver 18" CH's on an 8P, wondering if I would like black/anthracite a bit better.

Great looking car mate, what size and fit are your wheels and are they OEM or reps? They're quite concave in shape and thought that was only possible with really low et values like et25.

Been looking through this thread loads and still can't decide what wheels to go for, was first thinking 3SDM or Alphards but I now want to go with some 19's instead. Apart from Bentleys what else is there that's 19" and wide that will fit without too much hassle?
 
No idea, never measured it, its right down on the rear adjusters and the front adjusted to suit, pretty please with it :laugh:
 
yeah i can imagine them being expensive! they look amazing though! time to live like a hermit until i can afford them i think!
 
alright guys,
i have an a3 tdi with some 3dsm on it and today i fitted some s3 calipers to it and guess what,
caliper touchs the wheel. my question is what size spacers do i need to sort this issue out,my wheels are
8.5j ,also best place to go for spacers,thanks in advance danny

What ET are the wheels? Did they fit the standard calipers?
 
they fitted my standard calipers ,cant rember the off set off top of my head will look in the morning
 
Has anybody done Porsche Twists on one? Can't find them in this thread, got bored after about 20 pages of searching :3sadwalk:
 
I have a '04 A3 2.0TDI Sport... Anyone know what stud pattern that is? also, seeing as I have just got new tyres I would quite like to keep to the same size rim so i dont have to go out and get a new set of tyres.. I know my tyre size, but not the appropriate rim size anyone know what size rim accommodates a 225/45ZR17 tyre?

have you read through this thread? Is this a wind up?

ok to answer your 2 questions.... stud pattern is 5x112
your rim size is 17... the clue was in the tyre size 224/45/R17

I'm sure they only come in 17's though, wouldn't want to run 17's personally unless on air :shrug:
I plan on 19's for sure :)

was just looking a set of ultraleggeras in 19" was thinking of maybe getting them, and then i see this post which doesn't help at all!!!!
