Any news here regarding 600nm with stock DSG hardware?
Regarding DSG quite a few company's mapping TTE525R this month so lets see
After many discussions with tuners i decided to install a HGP DSG Upgrade.
This will be installed in 2 weeks.
Still no turbo received so after that i hope i can instal and tune the TTE 525R soon.
Why are you not going completely for HGP? For now they have the best performing Golf R. I know it is expensive. But you have a complete package.
Oettinger which are using the TT525r, are installing or changing the valvetrain (I hope I translated it correctly). So for the moment I think that every tuner is trying to find the right recipe to tune the engine to the full potential.
I will wait and see what happens over the next months. Overall it costs a lot of money to bring this engine to 500hp. Maybe I will spend this money next year for an RS3 sedan.

I only seen a VBOX screen shot not verified or corrected. Or you seen different?
I only saw this video. At the beginning you see it. I know it is only a video but this is enough for me to proof that. Yes it is not corrected but thats ok for me. No one else made such a video.

Its a good FAST package but I do not agree with your statement until I see proof
Any new times from your Golf R beast?
I already have done much upgrades, so a new full package is not an option.
I also made a decision a few months a go not to go for a used RS3 but upgrading my sedan and hoping to go for a used RS3 sedan in the future.
IE has a full upgrade for the reinforcement of the engine but that was to expensive to go for.
So for what power are you going now? 500hp / 600 nm on stock engine? Which tuner ?
I am also really interested to see what happens with the S3 from Dandanfings and what the power output is. Hopefully he will do a nice and long video
Well this is a good point as on face of it and im glad you ask...We figured was faster than our previous PB 8.01 100-200kmh since software revise by MTR, as on vbox screen on day of mapping we had 7.7 sec and other sub 8 sec runs.. But we never shared as after checking raw data (DNB files) we found in fact was slower and cars real 100-200 was 8.3 corrected and verified. So to date our best still is 8.01 CORRECTED.
Really tuners and public need be careful as VBOX screen will show a time and Not compensate for gradient !!! I can run a low 7sec on vbox screen on a slight decline and claim world fastest time if i wanted.....
We are due to get car remapped again as we have lost a little boost. Problem is MTR is on the other side of Germany i think 6 hrs or so away.. We hoped to remap at last race meet as MTR attended but conditions was so bad it was unsafe to map on public road/autobahns. So we await retune when we can

Shorty, that's good time. You must be getting decent increase using E30 mix I take it. Since you got almost 0.2 sec faster and 3mph faster trap.

I can confirm my DSG is holding close to that at over 590nm no problem ;-)
Today we dyno'd our Golf 7 TTE525R with MTR software. This time on Provoteck dynostar to give another independent result.
Spool is a little later on this new lower boost tune(1.6-1.85bar) to results previously shared. But still we are making 500nm at approx 3400rpm and see peak power of 500+PS & 600+nm.

This is interesting, We plotted the torque curve of the new result/tune(above) on too the tune back in January.

did you have clutch slip at 630 nm Simon ?
no we had slip in January(lower torque plot above) at lower nm but quicker spool.. its as if clutch cant ramp up the pressure or clamp fast enough, so had too slow the spool to clamp.. all theory and i could be wrong, just sharing thoughts,.
Clutch is fine now at 630nm

There is a big update coming i promise, its just taking a long time.
Sigh... this is dragging on and I'm getting messages on various forums and also Facebook on a daily basis... and rightly so.
What i can say is this, its not exactly going to plan and 'we' (thats myself, TTE and MRC) cant quite figure out why its not doing what it should be doing (making silly power).
However there is a plan underway right now and it should work....I'm optimistic and fully expect the car to be running well before the end of the week
I guess this is pretty typical with big upgrades, there are always little gremlins popping up, whether its software or hardware and to be fair taking a 300bhp car to almost 500bhp is alot to ask for!
But once its done it will mean everyone else will be able to do the upgrade with MRC, so you can all thank me later

You're absolutely right.
If someone's done it before,it's much easier,and mostly,the parts and software are there once one person has taken the plunge.
The difficult part is being the one to do that first,but it will definitely be worth the effort,I can promise you that.
Also how are those seats coming on Dan?
Also not so well, the retrimmer didnt finish them in time, the brackets only fit 3 of the 4 bolts (hello safety) and the icing on the cake...... corsas sit higher than S3's.
Cant get any of the above fixed until i get the car back, so in limbo right now.
I'm sure your get it all sorted soon mate. Some times when modding cars you get these hiccups, but that's what happens when your the first person to do it. Good your pushing the boundaries though! It will get there!
Above is latest Dyno on Hub Dyno this showing the new Racingline stage 2 OEM+ software overlapped against APR stage 2 and second is OEM+ Stage 2 over stock.
I'm going to swap across to this in next couple of weeks as my mechanic who was previous APR dealer has swapped to this after issues with APR LLC removing ties with many of APR dealers in Aust.
Obviously looks very similar to APR but now I will have my local support back and I know that HP calibrated tune in Australia and have good rapport with them and use their DSG tune which has been perfect.
