If I remember right you can code it via VCDS in the central electrics module to LHD

Simplest option is to buy the stickers then remove them on your return.

Can be done at dealer or via VCDS. See this thread - it's answered in the second post but quickly goes off topic. Lol.

I used stickers once and ended up having to deal with the glue that remains on the headlight - must have been cheap stickers

I would think not due to heat, but not sure. Should say on the instructions.
