8p and 8v suspension are they the same

Is the suspension on the 8p & 8v shocks and spring the same, will the 8v kit fit on an s line 8p

Sorry for bringing up the old thread. May I ask you what exactly don't fit - springs or struts & shocks? I'm mostly interested in front springs. Do the 8V front springs fit the 8P?

They’re two completely different platforms of vehicle with different suspension technology.

I wanted to buy a MSS Kit for my A3 8P and contacted the developer. They suggested me to purchase the 8V version of the rear MSS springs because they were originally developed for the 8P platform and keep my VWR springs on the front. I asked the question above in hope that I could get the full MSS kit if the 8V front springs fit too.
