Anyone recommend best way to remove chrome trim ? I wanna go for the " No Chrome" route for a little see what it looks like.
Use something flat to prize it off - start from an inside edge (I found it came away easier from the inside edge rather than outside edge) and work around the grill, prizing it off a little at a time. It's pretty simple really. Don't be hastey pulling it off when it's hanging loose - I broke a clip. I did take pics of mine now it's body-colour but the pics came out **** and i've not been near it with the camera during daylight since! Will try again when I can.
I was going to do this today but when I took off the chrome surround I thought whats the point of spraying the surround in the first place i'v just left it off and it looks good still!
